The Present
It is fine to be nostalgic sometimes and recall how things were. Very often things in the past were in a worse state than now, yet they still have an attraction of sorts. This could be due to the fact that they were the first experiences in our lives and we get to know things as we had encountered them first, flaws and all...
However, we should not live only in the past and it is important to appreciate also what the present has to offer.
Here is a night shot of Marsascala which has become quite a big village and increasingly popular as a summer residence and for evening strolls in both summer and winter.

Believe me the present is always better than the past. And there is no use crying over split milk.
