Saint Gorg Preca

So now the Maltese have their very own saint, canonised by Pope Benedict XVI on Sunday 3rd June. Dun Gorg Preca is the first Maltese Catholic Saint. Others are in the pipeline.

Whether I relate to saints or not I feel it is of interest to my blog readers to present two interesting videos that feature the life of Dun Gorg who certainly raises many a nostalgic memory of the days when baby boomers attended the MUSEUM sessions as part of their lifestyle. Dun Gorg is a key figure in our youth who managed to leave a mark in our upbringing. Many of us have moved on and evolved in their thinking but nevertheless the religious doctrine which at the time was very significant in our lives is still today a somewhat charming memory.
